The Tasmanian Wine Festival is one of Tasmania's premier food and wine events, attracting thousands of patrons each year. The festival showcases the best Tasmanian vineyards, producers and live entertainment within the iconic Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, celebrating the people, stories and flavours of Tasmania's wine industry.

We are seeking a Marketing & Admin Assistant to join the Tasmanian Wine Festival team. In this role, you will conceptualise, capture and develop the festival's marketing and social media strategy and deliver engaging, high-quality content across all platforms.


As the Marketing & Admin Assistant, you will:

- Work closely with the festival team to plan and execute the Tasmanian Wine Festival's marketing campaign and strategy
- Maintain and grow the festival's social media platforms
- Create, refine and oversee the festival’s digital marketing assets
- Develop and manage marketing plans, content schedules and rollout timelines
- Measure performance and optimise marketing campaigns across digital, social and traditional channels
- Liaise with content producers, wineries, food vendors, artists and stakeholders to capture and deliver content
- Support the acquisition of marketing partners, influencers and sponsors

Skills & Experience
This role is ideal for a current business, marketing or events student who has:

- Strong knowledge of major social and digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong spelling, grammar and attention to detail
- Experience in paid social media advertising, with understanding of optimisation and conversions
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (image and video editing) or similar
- A genuine passion for Tasmanian events, food, wine and live entertainment.


This role requires full availability between Tue 27 Jan and Thu 12 Feb, including weekends.
- Dec to Mid Jan: 15 to 25 hours/week
- Mid Jan to Late Feb: Full Time
